Jersey City Jazz Festival 2026

RiverviewJazz.org is committed to building a self-sustaining audience for the arts by presenting various forms of Jazz to the community in a combination of traditional and non- traditional spaces.

Riverview Jazz (RVJ) is a community based music presenter operating mainly in Jersey City. The center of its programming is the Jersey City Jazz Festival (last weekend in May. RVJ fills out its year-round programming presenting or partnering on events in all wards of Jersey City. The overwhelming majority of these are completely free to the public. RVJ features hundred of musicianss each year in accessible performances to the community.

Supported by public funds from the Jersey City Arts and Culture Trust Fund

This program is made possible by a grant from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a division of the Department of State, and administered by the Hudson County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs/Tourism Development, Craig Guy, Hudson County Executive & the Hudson County Board of County Commissioners.

RiverviewJazz programs are supported by funding through the NJEDA’s A.R.T. - Phase II Grant Program.

Riverview Jazz's presentation of Tim Berne is supported through a Chamber Music America Presenter Consortium for Jazz grant in collaboration with Pet Shop Jersey City.

A component of the Doris Duke Jazz Ensembles Project, Presenter Consortium for Jazz is funded by the Doris Duke Foundation
