Jersey City Jazz Festival
Returning May 29 - June 2, 2024
In 2023 the Jersey City Jazz Festival found a permanent home at the newly renovated Exchange Place Plaza. Situated at a transit hub with unparalleled views of NYC, the festival was an overwhelming success. Over 15,000 people attended the 4 day festival, which incorporated venues throughout town in addition to the Jersey City waterfront.
Over 200 musicians performed during the festival, including living legends such as Eddie Palmieri and Bill Frisell. The festival also included a wide range of musical styles featuring some of the best talent in the NYC-tristate area.

A free-to-the-public, all-ages event where everyone is welcome. Events like the Jersey City Latin Jazz Festival bring people together from all backgrounds fostering a sense of community and unity.
Riverview Jazz has a history of ending each day of the Jersey City Jazz Festival with infectious Latin groups. Past performers include Little Johnny Rivero, Sonido Solar feat. Eddie Palmieri, La Excelencia, Mambo Legends, Doug Beavers Titanes del Trombón, Johnny Rodriguez Dream Team, Chino Pons y Grupo Irek, and many more!
