John Nunez

John Nunez is known for his intervallic and open sound, while keeping his roots of classic jazz music. Growing up in North Jersey, he began playing the guitar at the age of five, setting him up early for a lifetime of music. 

 

John’s versatile playing and interest in all styles of music has led him to play in bands of many different genres; performing with comedian Hannibal Burress, playing in jazz groups across New Jersey and New York clubs, recording with three guitar band Infinite Wets, and touring with soul band The Jack Moves. Alongside all of this, he continues to be a consistent member of the jazz and independent music community in Jersey City. 

 

Currently, John freelances as a musician and spends most of his time recording music for his solo project, “nuNU”.
